Look Your Best Online

I was a guest of Brugal Rum and Shaw Ross Importers in Puerta Plata to tour their distillery and enjoy a few days in the sun. The Dominican is a beautiful country; a place I would love to return to with my kids.

tenaciously > The high sail of our boat.

tenaciously > The first mate takes the Captain's helm on our return to the island.

tenaciously > Steering through much calmer waters on our return home.

tenaciously > The tide was too far in to walk back to the beach; we had to shuttle back and forth in a powerboat.

tenaciously > Crystal Rose! A popular Dominican band (according to the deejay). They were very good! We ate at Hemingway's, a popular restaurant/club near our hotel.

tenaciously > A cat that shaded itself from the bright sun near us-he hung out at the pool most of the day.

tenaciously > The entrance to the Puerta Plata airport. It is a very relaxed place, which made the delay getting home a bit more enjoyable.

tenaciously > Art in Newark. We arrived at the hotel very late (but not late enough to enjoy a few cocktails at the bar).
